Ex-RCB batter slams triple ton, puts franchises on alert ahead of IPL mega-auction

Dehradun: Mahipal Lomror produced a sensational performance in the Ranji Trophy Group B match at Abhimanyu Cricket Academy in Dehradun. The left-handed batter notched up a triple century against Uttarakhand to send the franchises on alert ahead of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 mega-auction on November 24 and 25.

The former RCB player carried his rich vein of form in the match against Uttarakhand. Lomror had hit a century in his previous match against Hyderabad. Coming to bat after the fall of opening batter Abhijeet Tomar at 23-1, Lomror steadied the ship by building crucial partnerships with Ram Chouhan and Zubair Ali Khan.

He then stitched a solid partnership with Karthik Sharma as the pair took Rajasthan to 362/4 by stumps on day 1, with Lomror remaining unbeaten on 141 and Kartik on 101.

Lomror continued his dominating form on Day 2 reaching a sensational triple century in just 357 balls. His sensational unbeaten knock was studded with 25 fours and 13 sixes. Rajasthan declared their first innings on 660 for 7.
