Angamaly: In a shocking incident, a family of four was charred to death after their house was caught in fire during the early hours of the day. The deceased have been identified as Binish Kurian (45 ), wife Anu (40) and children Jovana and Jesvin aged and eight and five respectively.
The incident happened reportedly at 4:30 am, but the the fire services received the call at 5:20 am. As per sources from Angamali, the fire had broke out in the second floor of the house. The reason for the for the fire eruption is yet to be ascertained as fire force officials has downplayed short circuit as the reason.
By the time the fire force reached the location, the entire house was engulfed in fire and the four members were found burned to death. Officials doused the fire and shifted the body outside the house.
The house has been cordoned for forensic inspection. Binish Kurien has been undertaking the sales of natural spices adjacent to which there is a godown and a drying area for spice Electrical inspectorate officials and forensic inspection has begun to ascertain the cause of the fire.
