Rohit Sharma-led Men in Blue scripted history by becoming the first team to win the T20 World Cup undefeated. The class of 24 Invincibles fulfilled the dream of the billions, who longed for this moment since MS Dhoni’s India won the 2011 ODI World Cup at home. Indian fans await the arrival of their heroes
The country now awaits eagerly for the return of their heroes. The expected arrival of the T20 World Cup-winning squad was on Monday but it is currently stranded in Barbados. The Caribbean Island has been shut down due to hurricane Beryl, which has intensified with maximum sustained winds of 210 kmph.
The Men In Blue were supposed to fly from New York via Dubai but might take charter flight back home due to the inclement weather.
