New Delhi: Dr. Pranoti Kshirsagar, an Indian-origin woman, faced racial harassment while attending a Jason Derulo concert in Tirana, Albania. The incident took place at an Albanian music festival, where a group of girls made racially charged remarks on her.

A video circulating on X captured Dr. Kshirsagar’s emotional recount of the experience, highlighting her frustration and the racism she encountered. Her candid narrative struck a chord with many, drawing widespread support and shedding light on the issue of racial discrimination.

In the video, Dr Kshirsagar can be heard saying, “I was waiting in line, and a group of four girls just came up, cut the line, and when I pointed it out, they repeatedly told me to go back to my country.”

“They laughed about it, called me their mother, and made other remarks”, she added. The video was first shared on TikTok by Dr. Kshirsagar.
