Hyderabad: Three people were killed and 20 were injured, when a tourist bus from Hyderabad headed for Gaya, Bihar met with an accident.
The tourist bus collided with a lorry on National Highway-18 in Baripada, Mayurbhanj district of Odisha. Twenty-three travellers in the bus belonged to the Chatrinaka area of Old City, Hyderabad.
The three deceased are identified asUday Singh, Krantibai and Uppalaiah. The 20 injured were taken to the nearest hospital for treatment. Police are investigating circumstances that led to the collision.
Nine students bitten by rats at a govt school while sleeping:
In a separate incident, nine students at a government school hostel in Medak district were bitten by rats while sleeping in their hostel, reports said.
This also comes after students at a government school in the nearby area suffered food poisoning after a lizard was found in their food. The children were treated in the hospital and were sent back to the hostel and are said to be safe.
