KTR slams Congress:

BRS leader KT Rama Rao said that he was speaking to constitutional and legal experts in Delhi on the issue of defections. He also accused Congress leader Rahul Gandhi of hypocrisy and double standards for reportedly encouraging defections. He also stated that Gandhi was acting as the protector of the constitution while undermining its spirit.

The anti-defection law in some circumstances, allows legislators to change party without incurring the risk of disqualification.
