IndiGo to operate daily flights on Bengaluru-Abu Dhabi route from Aug 1

New Delhi: IndiGo, a private carrier, has announced to operate direct flights connecting Bengaluru and Abu Dhabi. The low cost airline will start the flight operations from August 1, 2024. According to a report, the airline will operate the Bengaluru – Abu Dhabi route six times a week, offering Indian travelers a convenient access point to explore Abu Dhabi and beyond through IndiGo’s extensive network.

IndiGo aims not only to serve Indian travelers but also attract international tourists to Bengaluru, highlighting the city’s rich heritage and historical landmarks.

Indigo Bengaluru-Abu Dhabi Flight Timings

The new flight, identified as IndiGo 6E 1438, will depart from Bengaluru daily at 9:25 pm, except on Tuesdays, and reach Abu Dhabi at 11:30 pm. The return flight 6E 1439 will depart from Abu Dhabi daily at 12:30 am and arrive at Bengaluru’s Kempegowda International Airport (KIA) at 5:45 am. The flight service will not be available on Wednesday. This service is designed to cater to both business and leisure travelers, enhancing connectivity between India’s Silicon Valley and the UAE capital.

With the launch of this route, IndiGo has expanded its weekly flights to 75 across 10 cities in India. “Bengaluru becomes the tenth city on IndiGo’s network to offer direct flights to Abu Dhabi from India. With these additional flights, IndiGo now operates 75 weekly flights to Abu Dhabi and over 220 flights to the UAE,” IndiGo’s Global Sales Head, Vinay Malhotra said.
