What is Aadhaar Authentication history?
Aadhaar authentication history lets you know about when and where your Aadhaar card has been used. It provides detailed information about where your Aadhaar has been used for authentication in the last six months. You can check your Aadhaar authentication history on the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) Website or by installing the mAadhaar App on mobile. Remember that your mobile number should be linked to your Aadhaar card to avail of this service.
Steps to check Aadhaar Authentication history
Step 1: Visit UIDAI’s official website i.e https://resident.uidai.gov.in
Step 2: Click on ‘My Aadhaar’ tab
Step 3: Then, select ‘Aadhaar Authentication History’
Step 4: Enter the Aadhaar number to request an OTP verification. You will receive OTP on your registered mobile number.
After OTP verification you will be able to see your Aadhaar details and previous authentication requests. You can also check your Aadhaar authentication history through the mAadhaar App. For this, you will need your Aadhaar Number or VID to log in.
How to report misuse of Aadhaar?
If you have not performed any of the transactions listed in the records then, you should report it immediately. Aadhaar user can may contact the respective Authentication User Agency (AUA) to report about Aadhaar misuse.
