New Delhi: Napoli have confirmed the signing of Manchester City midfielder Kevin De Bruyne on Thursday, June 12. The Serie A champions moved quickly to acquire the services of the Belgian international on a free transfer.
He won 19 major trophies in an illustrious 10-year career with Manchester City. The 33-year-old underwent his medical and signed a two-year deal with the reigning Serie A champions. He will link up with the former Chelsea and Tottenham manager Antonio Conte.
The midfielder rejected an offer from Major League Soccer club Chicago Fire to stay in European football, and this transfer means that he will play in the Champions League next season.
