Lok Sabha Election Results 2024: Candidates who recorded highest and lowest vote margins in Telangana, details here

Hyderabad: Telangana will send 8 Congress MPs, 8 BJP MPs and 1 AIMIM MP to the Lok Sabha in 2024, results of the election declared.

Many candidates won with a huge majority over their opponents while others were defeated by a narrow margin. However, one Congress party candidate in Telangana won with the highest majority and one BJP candidate won with the lowest majority, data shows.

Nalgonda, Mahabubnagar candidates win with highest, lowest majority:

Kunduru Raghuveer Reddy, who contested from Nalgonda Lok Sabha constituency on a Congress ticket won with the highest margin of over 5,60,000 votes, which is the highest victory margin in Telangana.

Meanwhile, DK Aruna, who contested from Mahabubnagar constituency, won her election with the lowest margin of 4,500 votes.

Other candidates victory margins:

Raghuram Reddy, who entered the fray as a Congress candidate from Khammam constituency, also won with a huge majority of 4,67,847 votes over his nearest opponent BRS candidate Nama Nageswara Rao.

BJP candidate Etala Rajender, who contested in Malkajgiri constituency, won against Congress candidate Sunita Mahender Reddy of Patnam with a margin of 3,91,4753 votes. In Mahabubabad, Congress candidate Balram Naik won by a margin of 3.49 lakh over BRS candidate Malotu Kavitha.

AIMIM candidate Asaduddin Owaisi won Hyderabad Lok Sabha seat with a majority of 3,38,087 votes. BJP candidate Bandi Sanjay won Karimnagar Lok Sabha seat with a majority of 2,25,209 votes. Congress candidate Chamala Kiran kumar Reddy won by a margin of 2,22,170 votes in Bhuvanagiri constituency while in Warangal, Congress candidate Kadiyam Kavya registered a record victory with a margin of 2,20,339 votes.

In Chevella constituency, BJP candidate Konda Vishweshwar Reddy secured a majority of 1,72,897 votes over Congress candidate Ranjith Reddy. Congress candidate Gaddam Vamsikrishna won in Pedpadalli constituency with a majority of 1,31,364 votes.

BJP candidate Dharmapuri Arvind, who contested from Nizamabad seat, defeated senior Congress leader Jeevan Reddy with a majority of 1,09,241 votes.

In Nagarkurnool, senior Congress leader Mallu Ravi won by a margin of 94,414 votes against BJP candidate Bharat Prasad. BJP candidate Nagesh won from Adilabad Lok Sabha seat with a majority of 90,652 votes.

Congress candidate Suresh Shetkar won in Zaheerabad by a margin of 46,188 votes over his nearest rival BJP candidate BB Patil. In Secunderabad, Union Minister Kishan Reddy won against Congress candidate Danam Nagender by a margin of 49,944 votes. In Medak, BJP’s candidate Raghunandan Rao defeated his nearest rival with a margin of 39,139 votes.

Victory in first attempt:

It is notable that the candidates who contested for the first time won their elections from Congress and BJP. These candidates include Kunduru Raghuveer Reddy, Chamala Kiran Kumar Reddy, Dr. Kadiyam Kavya who won from Congress, Rama Salal Raghuram Reddy, Raghunandan Rao, Etela Rajender, DK Aruna and Gaddam Vamsikrishna, won from BJP.
