This makes Arne Slott one of the only four managers to win both the opening games for the 2024-25 season.
So far, they have scored four times and are yet to concede a goal this season. They have consistently dominated during the pre-season, including a 2-1 win over Arsenal. Coming to the draw, the two coaches have been rivals in their homeland football league, Eredivisie, where each have secured two wins against the other.
In Liverpool’s first two games, they haven’t really shone well in the first half. However, their expected goal tally of 5.3 is the highest amongst all the other teams, and United would mind this statistic given their reputation for conceding goals. Last season, United saw through Klopp’s farewell season without a single loss to his side as they drew two Premier League games and won 4-3 in the FA Cup.
