New Delhi: Jaipur Pink Panthers defeated Bengal Warriorz at the Balewadi Sports Complex in Pune on December 20, Friday. With this win, the Panthers became the fifth team to qualify for the PKL 11 playoffs. They have 69 points in 21 matches and are placed in fifth position in the points table.
Warriorz were leading 19-9 at the halfway of the match and were looking like they wouldn’t qualify for the playoffs but skipper Arjun Deshwal made a strong comeback in the second half of the match. He made nine points in the match. Warriorz were eliminated from the tournament early and are in the 10th spot in the points table.

In the second match of the night, Telugu Titans escaped from getting eliminated from the tournament. It was the most important match for Titans as now they played all their league stage matches and finished the league stage with 66 points in 22 matches and are placed in the seventh spot in the points table.
Defending Champions Puneri Paltan was eliminated from the PKL 11. They became the fifth team to be eliminated from the tournament. Paltan have 55 points in 21 matches and their last match will be against Tamil Thalaivas.
U Mumba and Titans are the only teams left for the playoffs contention. Mumba have two matches left in the tournament and if they win any of their matches, they will automatically be qualified for the playoffs.
