New Delhi: UP Yoddhas broke Telugu Titans’ four-match winning streak with a 40-34 scoreline while U Mumba beat Tamil Thalaivas by 35-32 in the second match of the Pro Kabaddi League on Thursday.
Haryana Steelers are still in the first position of the PKL 11 points table with 36 points. U Mumba moved up to second spot with 34 points after their tight 35-32 win against Tamil Thalaivas, bringing their total to 34 points.
Puneri Paltan are now in third position with 33 points. Patna Pirates lost against the Steelers by 37-32 and dropped to the fourth spot with 28 points. Dabang Delhi K.C. climbed up to the fifth position with 27 points.
Telugu Titans are in sixth spot with 27 points after five wins and 4 losses, while Jaipur Pink Panthers have moved up to the seventh position with 25 points. UP Yoddhas made a significant jump to eighth position also with 25 points, after a brilliant 40-34 win against the Titans.
Bengal Warriorz slipped to the ninth spot with 23 points, while Tamil Thalaivas are in the tenth position with 22 points. Bengaluru Bulls and Gujarat Giants are struggling at the bottom.

Bhavani Rajput and Bharat Hooda star in UP Yoddhas win
Bhavani Rajput and Bharat Hooda scored a Super 10 to help UP Yoddhas register their first win in five matches. Vijay Malik’s Super 10 wasn’t enough for the Titans to stop the UP Yoddhas. Both the players performed brilliantly in the game.
At one point, both teams were going head-to-head in the final 10 minutes of play but Bhavani Rajpat completed his Super 10 by inflicting an All-Out on Telugu Titans to extend UP Yoddhas’ lead to eight points. After that, they failed to make a comeback in the closing stages of the game. Bharat became the second raider to pick up a Super 10 for UP Yoddhas and won the match for his team.
