New Delhi: After his trip to Dubai, superstar Rajinikanth is now on his way to a spiritual retreat in Kedarnath and Badrinath in Uttarakhand. The 73-year-old actor was recently spotted at Dehradun airport where he revealed his travel plans to the media.
Rajinikanth told ANI that, every year, he used to get new experiences that made him continue his spiritual journey again and again. He is hopeful that his current trip will lead to new experiences as well.
While shedding light on how these trips are important, Rajinikanth mentioned that the whole world needed spirituality because it was important for every human being. “Being spiritual means experiencing peace and tranquility, and fundamentally, it involves believing in God,” he was quoted as saying. On the professional front, Rajinikanth is currently gearing up for the release of Vettaiyan. The Tamil-language film also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Fahadh Faasil, Rana Daggubati, Manju Warrier, Ritika Singh and Dushara Vijayan in pivotal roles.
The action drama is expected to be released in theatres in October 2024. The TJ Gnanavel directorial is being produced by Subaskaran Allirajah under Lyca Productions. It is said to be the 170th film of Rajinikanth as the lead actor.
The music of Vettaiyan has been composed by Anirudh Ravichander, while SR Kathir has served as its cinematographer. The movie is undoubtedly one of the most highly anticipated flicks of the year.
