Parag departs after playing a brilliant cameo

Parag got off to a great start but failed to convert it into a big score as Arshdeep Singh ended his stay at the crease. The left-arm pacer bowled a full delivery outside off-stump and the Assam skipper tried to smash another boundary but managed to get a thick outside edge and Padikkal took a good catch at first slip.

Arshdeep celebrated his wicket aggressively as Parag hit him for three boundaries earlier in the innings. India B defeated India A in the last match while India D lost their last game against India C. Both teams will look to win this match to get back in the title race.

The second round of the Duleep Trophy saw many changes in the teams after BCCI announced the squad for the first Test against Bangladesh. Rinku Singh replaced wicketkeeper batter Rishabh Pant in the India B squad. Suyash Prabhudessai replaced Yashasvi Jaiswal and KL Rahul, Shubman Gill, Dhruv Jurel and Kuldeep Yadav were also released from the India A squad for the Bangladesh Test series.
