New Delhi: Rohan Bopanna dismissed the rumours of partnering with Ivan Dodig for the upcoming season. He recently pulled the curtains down on his partnership with Australia’s Matthew Ebden after the ATP Finals 2024 in Turin, Italy.
Bopanna-Ebden duo finished on the last position at Bob Bryan Group and failed to qualify for the semi-final. Bopanna posted a tweet on X and said that please don’t share any false information with the global audience before verifying. Bopanna also said that he was never set to play with Ivan next year.
“I kindly request you to please verify and refrain from sharing false information with a global audience, particularly regarding Ivan Dodig being my partner. I was never set to play with Ivan next year. Thank you” Bopanna wrote on X.

Matthew Ebden, Rohan Bopanna’s sensational partnership
Ebden and Bopanna enjoyed a lot of success in their two-year partnership. They won the Qatar Open title in 2023 and after that, they won the Indian Wells. The duo also won the Australian Open men’s doubles title after defeating Italy’s Simone Bolelli and Andrea Vavassori in the final at Rod Laver Arena.
They also won the Miami Open earlier this year. During this, Bopana became the oldest World No.1 at the age of 43. He also became the oldest Grand Slam champion at the Australian Open. But the duo didn’t have a great time at the ATP Finals. They started their campaign with consecutive losses but finished the tournament with a win over Germany’s Kevin Kraweitz and Tim Putz. For now, it is still unclear who Bopanna will pick as his new tour partner.
Rohan Bopanna said that he would not partner Croatia’s Ivan Dodig after splitting with Australia’s Matthew Ebden. Tennis Sports News: Latest Cricket News, Cricket Live Score, Sports Breaking News from Sports Today
