Stocks to Watch Today: Aster DM Healthcare, Som Distilleries, Amara Raja, AU SFB

New Delhi: All eyes will be on the US fed after US jobless claims fell to 238,000 from a 10-month high, indicating that the US central bank may keep rates higher for longer. The Bank of England continued to maintain the key rate unchanged while the Swiss National Bank cut the key rate by 25 basis points to 1.25 per cent.

Aster DM Healthcare: The pharma company is likely to witness a block deal in which Olympus Capital Asia may offload a 10.1 per cent stake in the company, CNBCTV18 reported.

IT companies: TCS, Infosys, Wipro, and HCL are likely to remain in focus after IT sector bellwether company Accenture reported a 1.4 per cent rise in revenues to $16.5 billion in local currency terms but was down 1 per cent in US dollar terms. Accenture revised its revenue guidance to 1.5-2.5 per cent from 1-3 per cent.

IndiGo: The aviation giant’s stock is likely to receive a boost after food safety regulator FSSAI carried out an inspection at TAJSATS Bengaluru, the Tata Group caterer for Air India after a knife-like object was reported in its food. The airline also joined hands with Garuda Aviation Academy for pilot training.

JM Financial: The non-bank financier was barred by markets regulator SEBi from acting as lead manager on debt issues until March 31, 2025.

Amara Raja Energy and Mobility: The battery maker hiked its stake in EV battery maker InoBat for 20 million euros.

Oil marketing companies: BPCL, HPCL, and IOCL will be in focus after Brent crude prices rose 78 cents to $85.85 per barrel anticipating a rate cut by the US Federal Reserve.

Tata Communications: The company secured a $250 million sustainability loan from Tata Communications DBS Bank, ANZ and Export Development Canada (EDC) for a five-year tenor, linked to meeting carbon emission targets.

Som Distilleries: One of the company’s distilleries was sealed and the state temporarily suspended its manufacturing licence after 58 children were found working in the facility.

AU Small Finance Bank: WestBridge Capital sold a 1.7 per cent stake in AU Small Finance Bank for Rs 845 crore via an open market transaction.
