New Delhi: Odisha’s flagship Subhadra Yojana is set to benefit 35 lakh women who will receive Rs 5,000 in their registered account. Subhadra Yojana was launched by Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi to ensure the financial empowerment of women.

The scheme entails the issuance of a Subhadra card to eligible beneficiaries. It offers Rs 10,000 per annum to eligible women in twin instalments of Rs 5,000 each. Digital transactions entail additional rewards over a 5-year period.

Subhadra Yojana eligibility

Women who belong to a family without and NFSA os SFSS card can apply for Subhadra Yojana. Their family income should not be more than Rs 2.50 lakh. The women must be aged between 21 and 60 years of age. They should not be receiving benefits over Rs 1,500 from any other government scheme. They should be residents of Odisha state

Visit the official website at subhadra.odish.gov.in
Select the beneficiary list option on the homepage
Select district or tehsil or gram panchayat or ward
The beneficiary list will be visible to you
If your name is on the list, the instalment will be credited into your account via direct benefit transfer

How to register for Subhadra Yojana

Women can enrol for the Subhadra Yojana by filling up a form in online or offline format. These forms are available at Anganwadi centres, block-level offices, Mo Seba Kendras as well as common service centres.

Documents required for Subhdra Yojana enrolment

The applicant must ensure that they have an Aadhaar card with a linked mobile number They should also ensure that they have an Aadhaar-seeded bank account enabled to receive DBT transfers. The beneficiary is eligible to receive an instalment even if they have applied late if they are eligible to receive benefits under the scheme, according to the website.
