Tamilisai clarifies her ‘chat’ with Amit Shah during Chandrababu Naidu’s swearing in ceremony

Chennai: Former Governor of Telangana and former Tamil Nadu BJP chief, Tamilisai Soundararajan on Thursday issued a clarification about what happened when Union Home Minister Amit Shah spoke to her during the swearing-in of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu on Wednesday after the fueled speculations amid ongoing rumblings between her and current Tamil Nadu BJP chief Annamalai.

Tamilisai said Amit Shah enquired about post-poll follow-up work! Here goes her statement: “Yesterday as I met our Honorable Home Minister Sri Amit Shah ji in Andhra Pradesh for the first time after the 2024 Elections he called me to ask about post-poll followup and the challenges faced. As I was elaborating, due to paucity of time with utmost concern he advised me to carry out the political and constituency work intensively which was reassuring. This is to clarify all unwarranted speculations around.”
