New Delhi: The WWE President Nick Khan and the Chief content officer of WWE Triple H met the Mayor of London Sadiq Khan at Levesque, at London’s City Hall on July 26, Friday. WWE members discussed the plans to stretch WWE mega events to the part of Great Britain.
London is always the capital of sports where Cricket, Football, Tennis many other games are played with full participation from the fans. Sadiq also believed that the power of sports unites the people together and also brings huge revenue to the economy of the nation.
Sadiq had planned to bring more sports from North America and across the world to London, it will start with WWE’s first International WrestleMania which will be hosted by the UK.
Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan, said: “I am delighted to have met with WWE Hall of Famer Paul “Triple H” Levesque and WWE President Nick Khan today to discuss how we can work to make London WrestleMania’s first international destination.
“London has great pedigree in hosting the biggest international sporting events from around the globe, It’s exciting to be working with the WWE team. The meeting was really productive, and talks will continue about how we could turn our ambition into a reality.” Sadiq added.
WWE SummerSlam 2024:
The WWE’s biggest Summer event SummerSlam will kick off on August 4, Sunday in Cleveland, USA. The WWE undisputed heavyweight title, WWE title, women’s title all championships will be at stake in the SummerSlam 2024.
