New Delhi: The UFC action is returning to the Apex Arena for the next UFC Fight Night event in Vegas on February 16, Sunday. Two real brothers will be featured in the same fight card. Gabriel and Ismael Bonfim are two Brazilian brothers who will be once again featuring in the same card.
Both brothers participated in the UFC 283 event in 2023. Elder brother Ismael secured a knockout win against Terrance McKinney, and younger brother Gabriel won against Mounir Lazzez via submission.
Both brothers fought in the preliminary card but this time elder brother will feature in the main card and Gabriel will still compete in the preliminary card. Ismael fought in the lightweight division, while Gabriel competed in the Welterweight division.
Ismael and Gabriel kicked off their UFC career on a high note by securing their win by finish. Ismael is currently 4-1 in the UFC and his only loss came against Benoit Saint-Denis and now in the UFC Vegas 102, he will take on Nazim Sadykhov.
Ismael’s opponent lost his last bout against Viacheslav Borshchev in 2023 and after 1.5 years, Ismael is making his return to the octagon.
On the other hand, Gabriel is also 4-1 in the UFC and he defeated Ange Loosa in his last fight in 2024 and he is much more regular than his brother in the UFC. He will battle out against Khaos Williams in the Welterweight division.
Both brothers are impressive with their grappling skills and also have knockout power to TKO anyone during the fight. Both will be looking to replicate their UFC 283 performances and eye to win respective fights. This will become a record as in two instances two brothers won their fight on the same UFC card.
