New Delhi: The action-packed UFC 304 prelims card just got over and all we saw were the great decision victories as all bouts went to distance in the preliminary card at UFC 304 in Co-Live arena, Manchester, England on July 28, Sunday. The Prelims card started with a bitter feud between Muhammad Mokaev and Manel Kape.
1. Muhammad Mokaev defeated Manel Kape
This fight was the much-anticipated fight in the prelims cards as Mokaev and Kape were so much involved in the feud that they had to be separated from the weigh-in face-off. Mokaev defeated Kape but it was not a comfortable fight for him as Kape landed some of his best shots in the final seconds but Mokaev was controlling the fight in the first two rounds, he was grappling well and knocked down Kape a couple of times. Mokaev beat Kape via unanimous decision (29-28,29-28,30-27).
2. Jake Hadley defeated Caolan Loughran
The British prospects dominated the fight as he landed an early shot to cut Loughran below the eye and then just put a show to pick the right spots and took the fight into the distance. Hadley defeated Loughran via unanimous decision (30-27,30-27,29-27).
3. Bruna Brasil defeated Molly McCann
The second women’s division on UFC 304 card also went to distance as Brasil broke McCann’s homecoming victory dream, Brasil attacked McCann’s legs to shift to a southpaw stance and then targeted her body and hurt him a couple of times. McCann kept looking for her chance but couldn’t find herself at the right spot and lost the homecoming victory via unanimous decision (30-27,30-27,29-28).
4. Nathaniel Wood defeated Daniel Pineda
The local boy Wood showed a great outing in front of his hometown fans as he registered a dominant victory against Pineda. Wood was showing great speed and impressive shot selection with his calf kicks. The veteran fighter Pineda didn’t have any answers to the Wood’s speed and lost the fight via unanimous victory (29-27,29-27,29-28).
