New Delhi: Tom Aspinall knocked out Curtis Blaydes to retain his Interm Heavyweight title at UFC 304 in Co-Live in Manchester, England on July 28, Sunday. The UFC 304 main card is just getting bigger and better and fights are becoming more vicious it all started with Paddy ‘The Baddy’ Pimblett hyped up the home crowd and submitted King Green in the first round.
Aspinall maintained his record for not going into the second round in his UFC career as he finished Blaydes in the first minute of the fight. Aspinall came out guns blazing hitting a right hand to Blaydes which sent Blaydes into the canvas and then Aspinal produced some vicious headshots on the ground and ended the fight in just under a minute. It was the first Interm Heavyweight title defense from Aspinall and he successfully cashed it and TKO Blaydes.
Aspinall also avenged his first loss against Blaydes in 2022. He has now booked his next fight against the winner of Jon Jones vs Stipe Miocic for the UFC Heavyweight title.

Paddy Pimblett puts a show in Manchester
Another Local prospect Pimblett delivered in front of the home crowd. It was one of the biggest wins of Pimblett’s career as he submitted man in form Green and slept with him after the submission victory. Paddy exchanged some kicks from Green in the starting minutes but Green shot for a takedown which Paddy denied and attacked with a guillotine but when he recognised the guillotine was not right up there he switched to the triangle choke and submitted Green in the first round.
Paddy is now 6-0 in the UFC and proving himself as a great lightweight contender for the future.
