New Delhi: Khalil Rountree is all set to headline the UFC 307 event in the Delta Center in Salt Lake City, Utah, United States on October 6, Sunday. Rountree will be challenging UFC Light heavyweight champion Alex Pereira for his title at UFC 307. Rountree intakes a blended supplement that contains DHEA, which was sent by his supplement without his approval and Rountree consumed that supplement by accident. Rountree was feeling some massive oversight in his body after consuming the supplement, then immediately he contacted The Nevada State Athletic Commission (NSAC).
Rountree was praised by the NSAC for his honesty that he speaks out the truth after consuming the drugs by accident. Earlier, Rountree was suspended for two months by UFC’s CSAD program and he had to pull out from his fight against Jamal Hill at UFC 303. He was banned from the UFC temporarily and was criticized heavily by the fans.
“I just want to say thank you guys for looking into the details of the matter. It has made a huge difference in everything that’s happening right now in my life. I’m just really appreciative of you guys for taking the extra time to look into the details.” Rountree said after his failed drug test.
Rountree came forward for this problem which is now praised by the UFC fans also and it was a major factor in his participation in the upcoming UFC 307 event. Rountree’s suspension will end before the date of his next fight and will look to be in good shape in the octagon.

Alex Pereira is the sole fighter in the UFC who is defending his title for the third time this year.
