After Hezbollah chief Hassan Nasrallah died in the Israeli airstrike at the organisation’s headquarters in Beirut, a purported video has surfaced on social media capturing the moment when his body was recovered and retrieved from beneath the surface of the earth, which reportedly was a bunker. A short clip circulated by Lebanese media outlets purports to show the moment the body of Hezbollah chief Hassan Nasrallah was recovered from the group’s underground headquarters in Beirut.
As per claims in the viral video, Nasrallah’s body was recovered from the explosion site approximately 40 metres deep and if media reports are to be believed, there were no visible signs of a direct hit. It is being speculated that Nasrallah likely died from the shockwave of the blast.
A foreign media outlet, on Sunday, reported, quoting a medical source and a security source, that Nasrallah’s body had been removed from the site of the Israeli airstrike on Friday. Notably, Hezbollah confirmed Nasrallah’s death on Saturday after the Israeli defence forces struck its main headquarters in the Lebanese capital.
However, the authenticity of the video is yet to be confirmed.
