New Delhi: Legendary India cricketer Sachin Tendulkar and his family on Thursday met honourable President of India Smt. Droupadi Murmu at Rashtrapati Bhavan. The Master Blaster gifted a signed Test jersey of Indian cricket team to the President of India during his landmark visit in the national capital.
Sachin’s wife Anjali Tendulkar & daughter Sara Tendulkar were also spotted at Rashtrapati Bhavan to meet the President of India. However, Sachin’s son Arjun Tendulkar was not present.

The ‘GOAT’ ready to roar
Tendulkar, regarded as the best batter of all time, has hit 100 centuries and 154 fifties in a career spanning 24 years. The Mumbai maestro holds a plethora of records including most international runs and most Test centuries. The iconic cricketer has scored the most runs in international cricket, amassing 34,357 runs in 664 matches across all formats. Tendulkar announced his retirement from international cricket on 16th November 2013.
For his contribution to the game, Tendulkar was honoured with the C.K. Nayudu Lifetime Achievement Award by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) in Mumbai last week.
He was recently seen hitting the batting nets ahead of his highly-anticipated comeback to cricket in the International Masters League. Tendulkar returned to training and was seen timing the ball beautifully nets in a video shared on X (formerly Twitter) by Indian Premier League (IPL) franchise Mumbai Indians.
Tendulkar will captain the Indian team in the inaugural edition of the International Master League, starting on February 22. The tournament will be played till March 16 with six teams taking part in the star-studded competition.
