He loves his wife and kids so much. Was jet lagged from Barbados to Delhi, met PM, then took a flight to Mumbai with the team, did a roadshow, attended Wankhede event, danced and now without further delay heading to London. Not even a night’s rest.

Anushka wasn’t either in the US or West Indies to cheer for husband Virat as she was busy in her motherhood. The cricketer-actor couple became parents to a baby boy in the month of February 2024. India’s arrival got delayed as Barbados was struck with Hurricane Beryl which forced the Indian cricket team to stay in the hotels.
Scheduled to leave on Monday, the victorious Indian cricket team finally left Barbados with the coveted cup on Wednesday and reached the national capital the following day. The Rohit Sharma-led men met PM Narendra Modi in Delhi and then left for Mumbai where they participated in an open bus victory parade followed by a felicitation ceremony at the Wankhede stadium.
