Virat Kohli spotted catching a local train in London – WATCH

New Delhi: Senior Indian cricketer Virat Kohli was recently spotted in London spending his vacation time. Over the last couple of months, the iconic player has been found in the United Kingdom capital during his off-the-time from the pitch.

In a recent video clip circulated on social media, Kohli was seen getting out of the car while talking to a local person there. The two of them later went to catch a train in the city, though it is unclear which station it was. Here’s the video:

Last month, Kohli and his wife Anushka Sharma attended a Krishna Das Kirtan in London just a fortnight after India’s T20 World Cup triumph in Barbados. The couple received plaudits from their fans for opting to attend a religious event over the glamorous ‘Ambani wedding’, which took place in Mumbai concurrently.

When will Virat Kohli return to action?

Virat Kohli’s last assignment in the Indian shirt was the three-match ODI series in Sri Lanka earlier this month. The 35-year-old returned with an underwhelming show, scoring 58 runs in three outings at a dismal average of 19.33 as India went to lose the first ODI series against their Asian rivals in 27 years.

Multiple reports suggested that Kohli along with other senior Indian players could feature in the Duleep Trophy 2024, India’s domestic season curtain-raiser. However, Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) secretary Jay Shah confirmed Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli and Jasprit Bumrah won’t participate in the first-class tournament to keep them injury free for the year-ender Border-Gavaskar Trophy in Australia.

Kohli is likely to feature in India’s upcoming home Test series against Bangladesh. The two-match series will commence on September 19 in Chennai.
