New Delhi: The wait has been over for Royal Rumble 2025 and the event kicked off with a women’s Royal Rumble match. IYO SKY made her way to the ring as a number one entrant and Liv Morgan joined her as the number two entrant. The bell rang and both women started things off for Royal Rumble 2025.

Morgan hit a knee and tried to give a headlock to Sky. Roxanne Perez from NXT came as the number three entrant and quickly attacked Sky. Perez hit Morgan with a kick followed by punches. Women’s Intercontinental champion Lyra Vallyria made her way as a number four entrant.

No woman was still eliminated from the match and then Women’s United States Championship Chelsea Green came as the number five entrant. Green slapped Perez and Morgan in the face. Ivy Nile, Zoey Stark, B Fab, and Lash Legend made their way as the next entrants, and still no women were eliminated from the match and there were nine active wrestlers in the ring.

Valkria was the first woman to be eliminated from the match as Nile tossed her up to the top rope and was eliminated. The previous edition winner Bayley came as a number 12 entrant in the match.

The first surprise of the women’s Royal Rumble match came on number 27 as Charlotte Flair made her return to the ring after two years.

Former WWE women’s champion Charlotte Flair won the women’s Royal Rumble 2025 on his return and Jey Uso stunned everyone by eliminating John Cena to win the men’s Royal Rumble match.

Flair received a huge roar from the crowd and took her time to get back in the ring. There were still 15 active women in the match. Flair chopped Bayley and then hit Michin with leg kicks and eliminated her from the match.

After that Flair eliminated Niven from the top rope but Morgan and Rodriguez both teamed up and took Flair on charge and slammed on the ground.

Number one and two entrants were still in the match for 59 minutes and number three was at 56 minutes. Nia Jax made her way as a number 29 entrant, she has the most number of eliminations in the Royal Rumble history.

Another Hall of Famer joined Royal Rumble, Nikki Bella surprised everyone in the arena by entering the match as number 30. Bella ran to the ring and started showing her aggressive fighting style.

Flair, Jax, and Perez were the last three women in the Royal Rumble match. Flair knocked Jax over the top rope and eliminated her and now the match came down to the two women Flair and Perez.

Flair hit another big boot on Perez and eliminated her to win the Women’s Royal Rumble match in 2025. She is now a two-time Royal Rumble winner, which is a record in the women’s division.

Jey Uso wins men’s Royal Rumble 2025

Jey Uso stunned everyone in the arena as he won his maiden Royal Rumble match in his career. Jey came as a number 20 entrant in the match and directly punched Finn Balor and took him down and then hit a spear on Drew McIntyre. Shinsuke Nakamura became the first victim of Jey in the Royal Rumble match.

John Cena made his way to the ring as a number 23 entrant and kicked off his retirement tour. Cena lifted Braun Strowman on his shoulder and gave him an Attitude Adjustment.

Cena was looking at Reigns and then CM Punk entered the match as the next entrant and now all three were staring at each other in the middle of the ring. Seth Rollins made his way and took down Punk immediately and meanwhile, Cena attacked Reigns.

Cena and Jey were the last two men standing in the match and everyone thought Cena would win the match Jey stunned everyone and hit a superkick to Cena which almost eliminated Cena from the match but he hung on and Jey kicked Cena and won the Royal Rumble 2025.
