Why did Egypt ban Logan Paul? WWE star reveals the shocking reason

New Delhi: Logan Paul has found himself in another unexpected controversy, claiming that the Egyptian government has specifically banned him from entering the country. The WWE star and YouTuber revealed in his latest vlog, released on February 19, that he had reached out to MrBeast to join him on a trip to explore the Great Pyramids of Giza. Initially, MrBeast, whose real name is Jimmy Donaldson, agreed to bring him along.

However, a week later, he informed Paul that the Egyptian government had made it clear that if Paul was part of the trip, it wouldn’t be allowed to proceed.

The news left Paul completely stunned. While he has had his fair share of controversies over the years, he said he had no idea why he was being banned from Egypt, a country he had never even visited. Paul has been involved in various high-profile incidents, including his infamous trip to Japan in 2017, which led to massive backlash.

However, despite facing criticism worldwide, he has never been officially barred from any country before—making this situation even more surprising.

WWE star Logan Paul left confused over Egypt ban

Paul explained in his vlog that he was excited about the opportunity to explore the pyramids and reached out to MrBeast, who initially agreed to bring him along. However, a week later, MrBeast called him back with unexpected news.

“Jimmy said, ‘Dude, unfortunately, the Egyptian government said that you can’t come, otherwise we can’t come,’” Paul recalled. “I was like, ‘Wait, what? I know I pissed people off, but the Egyptian government? I’ve never even been to Egypt.’”

The reason behind the reported ban remains unclear. However, Paul has faced several controversies in the past, most notably his infamous trip to Japan in 2017, where he filmed a suicide victim in the Aokigahara forest. That incident led to widespread backlash and temporarily derailed his YouTube career. While he was never officially banned from Japan, he admitted he wanted to be “invited back” before returning.

Paul’s vlog also featured backstage footage from the February 3 WWE Raw show in Cleveland, Ohio, where he interacted with fellow wrestlers like Rhea Ripley and Cathy Kelly. He also interfered in a match between The New Day and Rey Mysterio & Dragon Lee, helping The New Day secure a win.

So far, there has been no official confirmation from Egyptian authorities regarding Paul’s alleged ban. However, the claim has already sparked widespread debate online, with fans questioning why he would be singled out.
