Ingredients (Serves 2)
- 1 cup sabudana
- ½ cup peanuts
- 1 medium potato (boiled and diced)
- 2 green chilies (finely chopped)
- 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
- 1 tablespoon ghee or peanut oil
- 8-10 curry leaves
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- Sendha namak as per taste
- 2 tablespoons chopped coriander leaves
- 2 tablespoons grated coconut
How to make:
- Rinse sabudana 2-3 times and soak in just enough water for 5-6 hours.
- Drain excess water and fluff the pearls with a fork to avoid stickiness.
- Dry roast peanuts, remove the skin, and grind coarsely, keeping some whole.
- In a pan, heat ghee or oil, add cumin seeds, and let them splutter.
- Add chopped green chilies and curry leaves and sauté for a few seconds.
- Stir in boiled, diced potatoes and cook for 2 minutes until slightly crispy.
- Add soaked sabudana, roasted peanut powder, and sendha namak.
- Stir properly on low flame for 5 minutes.
- Turn off the heat and garnish with lemon juice, coriander, and coconut and serve hot.
