Dilsukhnagar Blasts 2013:

The blasts took place in a crowded shopping area, with the first explosion going off at Anand Tiffins at 7 pm in the evening while the second one went off minutes later at Venkatadri Theatre.

The bombs which were improvised explosive devices (IED) were packed with bolts, nails, ammonium nitrate, which were reportedly devised to inflict maximum casualties.

Inquiry into the incidents revealed that the explosives were planted on bicycles outside the blast sites and CCTV footage captured five individuals who purportedly planted the bombs at the site.

Indian Mujahideen figures such as Yasmin Bhatkal and others were later arrested and sentenced to death for waging war against the country and on other charges related to the blasts.
