The villagers of Gram Panchayat Kanda-Bharadar of Jakholi block have banned the entry of hawkers and outsiders.
In this regard, information boards have been put up at three different places within the village boundary. Gram Panchayat Medanpur has also banned the entry of outsiders into the village.
In the month of September, a complete ban was imposed on the entry and trade of hawkers, non-Hindus and Rohingyas in many villages of Kedarghati. Information boards were also put up on the borders of these villages. –
On receiving the information, the police removed the objectionable boards installed in these villages. Later, the entry of outsiders into the villages was banned.
Then the villagers said that outsiders are coming to the villages in the name of hawking and repairing mobile phones and other electronic goods.
In such a situation, this initiative has been taken at the Gram Panchayat level. After the intervention of the police, the information board was revised and it was said that outsiders and hawkers should be banned from entering and doing business in the villages.
