Telugu Desam Party (TDP) chief N Chandrababu Naidu will take oath as chief minister with Pawan Kalyan as Deputy CM on Wednesday, June 12.
The list of all 25 ministers, including Pawan Kalyan, was announced in the early hours of Wednesday morning. Among the 25, three ministerial berths were allotted to Jana Sena and one to BJP. The cabinet was formed keeping a balance between seniors and youth, a statement from TDP read.
17 fresh faces have been given opportunity while three women got a place in the cabinet. Eight BCs, two SCs, one ST, one from the Muslim minority, one from Vaishyu community, four Kapus, four Kamma and three Reddys found a place in the cabinet.
A slight delay was seen in releasing the list of ministers as Chandrababu Naidu was waiting to discuss with the Union Home Minister Amit Shah and the party’s national president JP Nadda about who should be given a place in the cabinet from BJP.
