Kanyakumari: Prime Minister Narendra Modi wore saffron attire for a Surya Darshan event at Vivekananda Rock Memorial in Kanyakumari on Friday, May 31. He had surya darshan from the rock memorial for few minutes and then went inside the Dhiyana mandapam for mediatation. Meanwhile, Tourists are allowed to visit the memorial with certain restrictions, including security checks with metal detectors. The first boat to the memorial departed at 7:30 AM this morning.

Amidst much hue and cry by opposition, PM Modi arrived in Kanyakumari yesterday evening and began his 45 hour long meditation.
