New Delhi: The two-day event of the Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) auction will be set for the 15th and 16th of August in Mumbai for the 11th season of PKL. More than 500 players will be in contention for making their way in PKL 11. A total of 12 franchises will build a core team for the upcoming seasons to win the PKL 11 title.

The auction table will be a different play as all the teams play smart in the auction and buy players for less money. Some top-class players will be a part of the auction and will be interesting to watch how the auction table will play on Independence Day.

Purse remaining of all 12 PKL franchises

Gujarat Titans: 4.08 crores
Bengal Warriors: 3.62 crores
Bengaluru Bulls: 3.02 crores
Dabang Delhi: 2.66 crores
Haryana Steelers: 2.32 crores
Jaipur Pink Panthers: 2.29 crores
Patna Pirates: 3.59 crores
Puneri Paltan: 2.12 crores
Tamil Thalaivas: 2.57 crores
Telugu Titans: 3.82 crores
U Mumba: 2.88 crores
UP Yoddhas: 3.16 crores

Teams have a total purse of 5 crores whereas Gujarat Giants have left with the most purse going into the auction with Rs. 4.08 crores. Pawan Sehrawat, Mohammad Shadloui, Pardeep Narwal, and many more PKL stars are heading into the PKL auction and franchises will look to get them in big bucks.

The PKL has come a long way as the inaugural season to season 11 has grown from Rs. 12.6 lakhs to Rs. 2.6 crores. This season’s auction will witness a new high to the sport. The players will be divided into four categories in the auction pool.

There will be a Final Bid Match (FBM) card to all the franchises, This card will allow franchises to buy back their released players by matching the last bid price for the player.

Each team will use a maximum of three FBM cards but it will also be depends on number of players retained by each franchise. If a team has retained more than 6 players then they can only use 1 FBM card to the auction, but if the team retained five players then they can use FBM cards twice and if they retained less than four players then they can utilise maximum of three FBM cards in the auction.
