New Delhi: It was a memorable moment for an Indian couple who celebrated their 36th wedding anniversary at the Wimbledon Championships recently. The official account of Wimbledon shared a short video of the couple on YouTube as the couple shared their experience of spending their special day at the Wimbledon.
The couple in the video said that the game of tennis is an emotion for them and their wish came true as both of them were able to celebrate their anniversary at the location where they always dreamt of spending.
“I have been a tennis fan since the early 70s. I am so emotional because it is a dream destination for both of us. Being in the stadium along with the crowd in itself is an experience that gave me goosebumps,” the couple said in the video.
Watching their favourite tennis star Novak Djokovic play at the Central Court was a dream come true for them as the couple enjoyed the contest among the crowd and also relished strawberries and cream.

Earlier, from cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar to Bollywood celebrities Siddharth Malhotra-Kiara Advani, several Indians have attended the Wimbledon Championships this year. The couple was at the Centre Court on July 4 when Novak Djokovic played his second-round match against England’s Jacob Fearnley.
