Tamil Nadu: DMK expels Syed Ibrahim over alleged role in Rs 70 cr Methamphetamine smuggling Kilambakkam drug bust: The Chennai zonal unit of the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) seized nearly 6 kg of methamphetamine, worth approximately Rs 70 crore at Kilambakkam bus terminus in Chennai. The initial investigation revealed that the substance was intended to be smuggled to Sri Lanka from Chennai via Ramanathapuram. The seizure led to the arrest of three individuals including the DMK functionary.
