प्रदेश सरकार ने आगामी वित्तीय वर्ष के लिए नई बैरियर नीति अधिसूचित कर दी है। इसे पहली अप्रैल से लागू किया जाएगा। नई नीति के तहत अन्य राज्यों से हिमाचल में प्रवेश करने वाले वाहनों को अब पहले की तुलना में अधिक शुल्क देना होगा।
प्रस्तावित दर के मुताबिक सामान्य छोटे वाहनों से अब 170 रुपये का प्रवेश शुल्क लिया जाएगा, पहले उनसे 70 रुपये लिए जाते थे। जिन वाहनों से पहले 110 रुपये लिए जाते थे उनसे 170 लिए जाएंगे। बड़े ट्रकों पर भी शुल्क बढ़ाया है। पहले अधिकतम शुल्क 720 रुपये तय किया था। अब इसे बढ़ाकर 900 रुपये कर दिया है। सरकार ने पहली बार इस नीति में छह प्रमुख बैरियरों को फास्टैग से जोड़ने का निर्णय लिया है।
नकद लेन-देन में कमी होगी
इसमें सिरमौर के गोविंदघाट, नूरपुर के कंडवाल, ऊना के मैहतपुर, बद्दी, परवाणू व बिलासपुर जिले के गरामोड़ा बैरियर शामिल हैं। बैरियरों का संचालन संभालने वाले ठेकेदारों को आवंटन के 15 दिन के भीतर फास्टैग प्रणाली लागू करनी होगी। इससे वाहनों की आवाजाही में तेजी आएगी और नकद लेन-देन में कमी होगी। बैरियरों की नीलामी ऑनलाइन होगी।
राजस्व में होगी बढ़ोतरी
इसके लिए संबंधित जिलों के उपायुक्त की अध्यक्षता में समिति गठित की है। इसमें आबकारी एवं कराधान विभाग के अधिकारी भी सदस्य होंगे। यदि किसी बैरियर को लेकर विवाद की स्थिति उत्पन्न होती है तो संबंधित जिले के उपायुक्त, पुलिस अधीक्षक और अन्य विभागीय अधिकारी मामले का निपटारा करेंगे। इससे राजस्व में पहले के मुकाबले दो से तीन गुना तक की बढ़ोतरी की उम्मीद है।
